        เมื่อวันที่ 8 มกราคม 2559 นายปรัชญา พลพุฒินันท์ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนวัดโพธิ์ ร่วมกับคณะครู บุคลากร และนักเรียน โรงเรียนวัดโพธิ์ จัดกิจกรรมวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2559 ณ หอประชุมโรงเรียนวัดโพธิ์ โดยนายมานพ สถิระนาคะภูมินทร์ นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านจาน เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณและของรางวัลสำหรับเด็ก ๆ จาก อบต.บ้านจาน สภ.พุทไธสง รวมทั้งบริษัท ห้าง ร้าน ผู้ปกครองนักเรียน และประชาชนในเขตบริการของโรงเรียน
